Public Art and 9/11
World Trade Center Memorials

Mr. Clark can design and fabricate any kind of outdoor public art for parks or other public settings. These picture show a variety of projects designed, fabricated and installed by Mr. Clark.

All aspects of the faceted Glass 9/11 Dome, 9/11 Mosaic, Firefighter’s Memorial and etchings were designed, engineered and fabricated by Mr. Clark with his crew and collaborating artists.

The WTC FDNY Firefighter’s Memorial in Tribute Park was sculpted from a nine tone granite boulder personally selected from a quarry in New Jersey by Mr. Clark and Denis Maloney. The Firefighters helmet on top was carved in solid granite was carved by sculptors Izabella Slobodoff with assistance of her son Roman, and Mr. Clark. The Memorial was donated by the Uniformed Firefighters Assn. and the Uniformed Fire Officers Assn.

In Mr. Clark's Roxbury, NY 9/11 Memorial, the wall molds that include openings for the flame shaped glass carvings and bull rushes (phragmites) were fabricated by the Clark and his crew. The bull rush carvings and molds for the surface relief were sculpted by New York City artist Esther Grillo. The arching wall was engineered, poured and coated by concrete specialist Denis Maloney of Breezy Point, NY.

The etched panels at the Breezy int 208th St boardwalk 9/11 Memorial were designed and carved by Mr. Clark. Designs were created in collaboration with each of the thirty Breezy Point WTC 9/11 families. All three Tribute Park sculptures were made possible with time, comma, and donations from many vital sources.
